Terms of Use
Effective October 16, 2026
These terms cover the SOLCLOAK website at solcloak.com and the SOLCLOAK Android app that opens that website. By using either one, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
The service
SOLCLOAK is a non-custodial interface for private payments in SOL, USDC, and USDT on Solana mainnet. You connect a wallet you control. SOLCLOAK does not hold your keys, does not take custody of your funds, and does not create an account in your name.
Shielding moves an amount from the connected wallet into a private balance for that wallet. A later send pays a Solana address you choose. The deposit and the withdrawal are separate events. Observers can still compare amounts and timing.
Who may use it
You may use SOLCLOAK only if you can do so lawfully where you are. You are responsible for deciding whether private transfers are permitted for you. Do not use the service for fraud, sanctions evasion, or any other illegal purpose.
The service is not offered to anyone under 18.
Your wallet and signature
One wallet is one private account. Opening it asks that wallet to sign one fixed message. The signature is the key to the private notes and is saved in that browser for that address. It does not spend funds. A different wallet, or the same wallet signing the message differently, cannot read notes created with the first signature.
You are responsible for the wallet, its recovery phrase, and the devices where the signature is saved. Clearing the browser removes the saved signature. Sign the same message again with the same wallet to reopen the account. Disconnecting does not delete private notes.
Transactions
You approve each shield in your wallet. That transaction pays the Solana network fee from the wallet. A private send is submitted for you after a proof is built in the browser, so the withdrawal is not signed by the depositing wallet. Check the asset, the amount, the fee, and the recipient before you confirm. Successful transfers cannot be reversed by SOLCLOAK.
A deposit can be declined when the source wallet is flagged. If that happens, the funds stay in the wallet. A send can be smaller than you asked when the private balance cannot cover the full amount. The receipt states what was sent. Amounts under the minimum shown on the form are refused.
A shield has no separate deposit charge beyond the network fee. A private send costs 0.35% of the amount plus a rent component, taken from the amount you enter. The form shows the live quote, and that quote controls.
What privacy does not mean
SOLCLOAK removes the direct on-chain pointer from the depositing wallet inside a withdrawal. It does not hide that a deposit happened, that a withdrawal happened, or the amounts and times of either. Matching amounts and close timing can still suggest a link. You decide when to send and which address receives the funds.
The Android app
The SOLCLOAK app in the Solana dApp Store is a shell that loads this website. These terms apply to what you do inside it. Links that leave solcloak.com open in the device browser.
Availability and changes
The site and the app are provided as they are. Proofs run in your browser, and a closed tab or a failed network request can interrupt a request. We may change, pause, or stop the service, and we may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top changes when we do. Continuing to use SOLCLOAK after that date means you accept the update.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, SOLCLOAK is not liable for lost notes, a wallet that signs the fixed message differently, a declined deposit, a mistyped recipient, network fees, or a transfer you approved. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
